About This Course
The Year 9 IGCSE Science course builds on previously learned scientific concepts and introduces more advanced topics in biology, chemistry, and physics. Through interactive lessons, investigations, and real-world examples, students will deepen their understanding of how living organisms function, how substances react and change, and how forces and energy shape the physical world.
Students will also begin developing stronger scientific reasoning and analytical skills through structured experiments, data interpretation, and problem-solving activities that reflect the style of IGCSE learning.
By the end of the program, students will be able to explain important biological, chemical, and physical processes, analyze simple scientific data, and apply scientific knowledge to solve practical and theoretical problems.
What students will gain:
-
A stronger understanding of key topics in biology, chemistry, and physics
-
Practical experience through experiments and scientific investigations
-
Skills in observation, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving
-
Confidence in using scientific vocabulary and explaining scientific concepts
-
A solid foundation for further IGCSE science studies and exam preparation
