About This Course

The Cambridge Year 3 Combined Science course is designed to deepen learners’ understanding of the natural world through observation, exploration, and simple scientific investigations.

Students will explore a wider range of scientific topics including plants, animals, materials, forces, and the environment. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and guided experiments, learners will develop curiosity, observation skills, and the ability to ask and investigate scientific questions.

This course places strong emphasis on:

  • Understanding the basic characteristics and needs of plants and animals

  • Exploring different materials and their properties

  • Learning about simple forces such as push, pull, and movement

  • Observing weather patterns and changes in the environment

  • Developing skills in asking questions and making simple predictions
