About This Course
The Year 11 English course is designed to strengthen learners’ advanced communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills in preparation for upper secondary assessments and future academic pathways.
Students will study a range of literary and non-literary texts, including fiction, non-fiction, media texts, and real-world materials. Through close reading, discussion, and writing tasks, learners will analyse language, structure, purpose, and meaning while developing confident and accurate expression.
